Currency Correlation

You may often see currency pairs forming the same patterns.
Be very cautious when that happens.

The table above shows the relationship between how currencies may move together. A value of 1 or -1 means that the currency pairs are 100% in synchronous. If one pair moves then the other pair will move.

If two currency pairs have negative correlation, then the pairs move in opposite directions. One goes up when the other goes down and vice-versa.

Always be aware that currency pairs often change correlation over time. A longer time frame such as one day with high correlation means that the currency has a steady pattern.
